Axiomatic and strategic analysis of claims problems: recent results and new directions
Abstract
In a claims problem, as formulated by O'Neill (1982), a group of people have claims on a resource but there is not enough of it to honor all of the claims. What should be done? We survey the current state of the arts in the study of these problems, present some new results and discuss directions that the literature has been taking.
