Example

We have prepare a simple example to show you how our stakeholder
analysis can be delivered.

Obviously, we can draw up a traditional written report, with all the details
uncovered by our analysis presented in a clear and readily intelligible way.
However, we can also order the information in the form of a stakeholder
map. This map, typically delivered in HTML, shows the information in way
that better agrees with the way the human mind operates. We do not store and
retrieve information in and from our mind in a very systematic way. Instead,
we tend to remember chunks of information by association.

More specific to a stakeholder analysis, actually drawing a map with the
organization in the centre and the various stakeholders arranged around it,
will have a much greater explanatory power. Eurasia Consult can deliver a
stakeholder analysis of a Chinese company in the form of such a map. We
can add information regarding the relationship between the company and each
stakeholder in the form of texts. Links to websites, documents, pictures, etc.,
can be added as well.
Other ways of graphically presenting the analysis are possible.

Lukang
The example case is an existing pharmaceutical company, Lukang, located in
Ji'ning, Shandong province.

We are listing three stakeholders: two rather obvious ones and a less obvious
stakeholder. Other the city and province are referred to here as 'obvious,' this
analysis still shows how Dr. Peverelli's method of analysis can reveal the
distinctions between the ways these different administrative levels make sense
of the same company and how this knowledge can be directly applied to your
actions as a (potential) partner of Lukang.
