Lecture 6: Entrepreneurship and culture
Most models of entrepreneurship have been constructed in a Western
setting. It is therefore useful to investigate to what extent they are
applicable to entrepreneurs in non-western settings. As this course is
presented in China, Chinese entrepreneurship is an obvious test case.
Differences between Western and Chinese organizations are explained.
Cultures differ in the extent to which what happens to a person is
attributed to external factors
